Early in our graduate program, we were asked to create an education technology philosophy to espouse our personal beliefs about the way we see how education technology fits into the world and into education. We looked at various educators and their ideas about educational technology. The 21st-century educator/student model came up frequently and really resonated with me. I found myself revisiting my philosophy after each edtech class because I had learned something new that either needed to be added or updated in my personal statement. I myself have made a commitment to be a life-long learner and I feel that being a 21st-century educator fits right in with that desire.
