Copyright Information Postings

In ordinance with the Texas School Library Standards, Standard 3, Principle 2, Section C:

 

In order for a school library to receive exemplary program development, they must:

1. Clearly mark copyright warning notices on copy-enabled equipment located throughout the entire campus

2. Establish and communicate procedures for attaching copyright warning notices to any new copy-enabled equipment added to the campus.

 

Please print out and use the FLYER to accompany all copy enabled equipment on your campus.

Establish a procedure with your campus principal to ensure that all new equipment is properly labeled when it arrives on campus.

 

Example: The administrative assistant is the designated campus person who orders and receives shipments of copy enable equipment. They can notify you when new equipment arrives or the librarian can provide them with copyright posters to display at the machine. The librarian should periodically check machines to make sure the posters are still up and in good condition and replace them as necessary.
