Today we read "The Mixed Up Chameleon" in class. We are going to learn a little about real chamelons today and brainstorm what animal characteristics we would add to ourselves if we could!
Activity
1. Review the story by using the link below if needed.
2. In your journal, title the next page "Chameleons"
3. Chameleons are real animals in a group called reptiles. Watch this video about these animals.
4. List 3 things that you learned from the video about chameleons.
5. Use this writing prompt to share with a classmate: "I used to think _____ about chameleons, but now I know ________ .
6. If you could be like the chameleon, what extra parts or characteristics would you change about yourself? What animals would you borrow from?
Draw a picture of yourself with at least 2 new things. Label each thing and explain what you would use them for.
