I do believe that MakerSpace days are almost magical in the library. The children are busy the entire time and on task....building, creating, exploring and using their imagination. I try to work in MakerSpace at least once a month because I love the organic exploration. I absolutely love MakerSpace weeks in the library. Legos, Lincoln Logs, Rainbow Loom, Magnatiles, Marble Run....so many creations and ideas happening. They love it when you give them tasks to incorporate into their designs like adding a certain number of windows or they are only allowed to use a specific number of Legos. I love it when a student has a problem and another friend steps in to give them advice or show them a different way to approach the problem.
Learning Targets:
I can learn from my mistakes and keep trying.
I can give and receive feedback to improve my learning.
